Andy Buchanan and Holly Campbell claimed the leading men’s and women’s honours at the 2026 Voltaren City2Surf, according to the event’s official timing results. The 14-kilometre Sydney race was held on Sunday 9 August, taking runners from Hyde Park in the CBD to the finish at Bondi Beach.

Buchanan crossed the line in a gun time of 40:27, finishing 38 seconds ahead of Luke Hince. Campbell won the women’s race in 46:35, with Eloise Wellings taking second. The official leaderboard shows a clear early separation at the front. Buchanan’s 40:27 was 38 seconds faster than Hince’s 41:05, while Goddard completed the podium another 45 seconds behind. The contest for fourth was especially close: Do Canto’s 42:29 placed him just two seconds ahead of Phillips.

Campbell established a winning margin of two minutes and 31 seconds over Wellings. Behind the first two, positions three to five were separated by only 13 seconds: Winter recorded 49:19, Weber-Kearns 49:26 and Winkcup 49:32.

Heartbreak Hill leaderboard

The official timing site also publishes a dedicated Heartbreak Hill segment. Buchanan led that leaderboard in 4:57, one second ahead of Hince in 4:58. Goddard was third in 5:13. Segment standings are separate from the overall race result and should not be treated as additional finishing places.
